Transition Services

The goal of Benhaven Transition Services is to unlock an individual's potential and together create a fulfilling career path as directed by IDEA.  The transition needs of young adults are addressed to prepare them for real-world, real-life experiences.  Support services are available in the community, place of employment and home setting based on the needs of the individual.

Benhaven Transition Services provides cost effective, pay-as-you-go hourly services in the following areas:

  • Establishing and sustaining relationships

C U S T O M I Z E D   E M P L O Y M E N T

Students who meet the criteria can take advantage of Customized Employment.  This process establishes a relationship between the employer and the employee in a customized way that meets the needs of both parties.  It is based on the job seekers strengths, conditions and interests in order to meet the needs of the identified employer.
