Direct Support Professional (DSP) Recognition Week is an annual, national celebration of the amazing DSPs who support people with disabilities every day, and this year the celebrations will take place September 13-19! Though we are grateful to DSPs every day, this week is set aside as a national observance of their importance, dedication, hard and innovative work to support the dreams, aspirations, and community inclusion of people with disabilities.
This year, through the myriad challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are especially grateful to this invaluable workforce.

Individuals with ASD and their families have an opportunity to participate in the SPARK autism research study. The study is conducted in part by Roger Jou M.D., Ph.D., MPH, Abha Gupta, M.D., Ph.D., and Yale University and is sponsored by the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI).
