Access Services

The admissions process for students age 18-21

  • A referral is made from a school district via phone, email or mail
  • Initial conversation with Benhaven’s admissions team and the school district to determine if the program is an appropriate match for the individual.
  • School district forwards the students file/records for review.
  • The student and family/guardian will visit the program. It is important for the student to attend the meeting. It is our belief that not only does the individual need to meet the criteria for attending our program but that the student believes we are the appropriate choice to help them to move forward and succeed in the future.
  • Family/guardian completes admissions packet and it is reviewed by Benhaven.

The admissions process for individuals age 21+

  • A referral is made by the individual, family/guardian or agency via, phone, email or mail
  • Initial conversation with Benhaven is conducted with the individual that made the referral.
  • Any relevant records/reports will be forwarded to Benhaven.
  • The individual, family/guardian and or agency representative will visit the program. It is important for the student to attend the meeting. It is our belief that not only does the individual need to meet the criteria for attending our program but that the student believes we are the appropriate choice to help them to move forward and succeed in the future.
  • Family/guardian completes admissions packet and it is review by Benhaven.
